| My very
first Pekingese dog, that I bought in 1969, was a red male named Billy.
It was love at the first glance. I took the first steps in the world of
shows with that sweet pup, but he never had good results. At that time the best breeder in Italy was Marchioness Bourbon del Monte. She explained me how a Pekingese should look like, and gave me some good advises. I went to UK to get my first Pekingese for shows that would have been the foundations of my new kennel. I came back home with a male named Sugno Chi Teweetu and two bitches: Sugno Black Lace and Sugno Pandora. Those dogs were the ones with whom I fixed my breeding line and the Canto Alto Kennel has born with them. From Sugno Black Lace I had some excellent puppies, among them there were Lace Junior del Canto Alto and Calimero del Canto Alto, who became Italian Champions Paolo Prandi |
